Scottish and Irish music, Appalachian soul

Jenny and the Weazels blend the traditional music of Scotland and Ireland with the sounds and spirit of Appalachia. Officially formed in 2024, the band met a decade earlier while studying at ETSU’s Bluegrass, Celtic, Old-Time, and Country Music program. Their lineup features Rheva Myhre (fiddle), Keegan Luckey-Smith (bouzouki, guitar, banjo, vocals), and Jamie McDermott (bodhrán, flute, vocals), delivering high-energy sets of jigs, reels, and fresh arrangements rooted in deep tradition.
